DEPRESSION IN OUR WORLD
There's no secret that discussing mental health in the black community is a taboo. The fear of "telling people your business" has kept us away from therapy for quite some time leaving us to self-medicate in ways that cause more harm.
I am so happy that over recent years, you see more black people talk about therapy and wellness. Advocating and promoting healthy lifestyles through social media has risen significantly!
Although posted in 2012, this video is still very relevant today.
